Why Not? Thinking about Singapore’s Tomorrow is a collection of essays that speculate on each writer’s vision of an ideal Singapore. Splitting the work with a colleague at Idea Ink Illustrations, we drew short 1- or 2-page comics for each of the 36 chapters of this anthology. This involved parsing down each essay to its essence and crafting a unique visual narrative for each one.
