Esplanade’s Annual Report FY2021/2022 spotlighted local artist Joanne Lim’s dynamic calligraphy and textured paintings. As the lead designer assigned to this project, I chose colours and typefaces for the report that would complement her work, and made sure to incorporate painterly elements where possible to tie the overall concept together. When creating layouts for the 170-page document, I focused on presenting a clear visual hierarchy and ensuring readability throughout the report.
